Elle Turpitt is a writer and editor from Wales. Since she could first read, she was often found with her head in a book. Elle first took an interest in writing with the encouragement of her primary school teacher, and has never stopped scribbling down the stories in her head. She graduated from University of Hull in 2012, after studying Creative Writing and American Studies. In 2019 she became a contributor for the site that would soon become Divination Hollow Reviews, and started doing paid work as a beta reader.

As a beta reader, Elle utilized the skills she had honed over the years, and was advised by many that her services were more like an editor than beta reader, and so she moved towards that instead. She loves helping writers improve their craft, and is constantly keeping an eye in developments in writing, as well as furthering her own knowledge.

She co-edited the anthology A Woman Built By Man with author S.H. Cooper, published by Cemetery Gates Media, and edited the sea horror anthology Sand, Salt, Blood, published by Sliced Up Press.
